"What happens to penguins in Antarctica potentially affects all of us, everywhere on the planet."

Help Support A Great Cause
As a way to raise awareness and funds for the good work being done at Oceanites, we created this 176-page eBook, packed with photos from our 2015 A Photographer’s Antarctica photo cruise. In addition to bringing attention to the research Oceanites is doing, the eBook showcases dozens of exceptional images taken by our clients on this 15-night cruise at the Antarctic Peninsula.
Oceanites is the only nongovernmental, publicly supported organization conducting scientific research in Antarctica. For 22 seasons, Oceanites’ Antarctic Site Inventory has surveyed visitor sites by relying on opportunistic transport for researchers—known also as Penguin Counters—mainly on expedition tour vessels. The data collected by Penguin Counters in the field is analyzed and available to researchers the world over. This helps scientists better understand environmental changes—and why and how they are occurring.
Please consider making a donation to Oceanites to support their ongoing fieldwork in Antarctica. You can do so directly on their website at www.oceanitesstore.org/donate.asp or by mailing a check to:
