Paulo Boute is one of the pioneering birders and ornithologists in Brazil. Paulo has 40 years of experience guiding photographers and birders throughout Brazil and abroad, but his first love is the wildlife-rich Pantanal—an area he knows intimately. Paulo has led private wildlife expeditions for such legendary ornithologists as Roger Tory Peterson and Robert Ridgely. Since childhood he has roamed through Brazil's nature attaining a deep knowledge of the country's birds, mammals and reptiles. Paulo lives in Cuiabá, Brazil—gateway to the Pantanal.
