This exceptional winter shoot captures the power and majesty of horses in snowy landscapes, striking images of Wild West buckaroos, and chronicles the uniquely American flavor of the "Cowboy Way."

Bolivia & Chile
Bolivia and Chile Photography Tour 2015

Bolivia & Chile

Altiplano, Atacama Desert & Salar de Uyuni

March 7–22, 2015
with Don Lyon & Alejandro Ronchetti

Our Bolivia & Chile tour provides high-altitude desert wildlife and landscape photography opportunities that are unique in the world. Travel through "big sky" landscapes where the terrain is ornamented with volcanic formations of unimaginable shapes and colors. At high-altitude lakes we photograph three species of bright pink flamingos as they feed in waters of astounding hues. Vicuñas, viscachas and other wildlife typical of the Altiplano are seen almost every day.

Photographers have an insatiable enthusiasm for quality photography time in Antarctica—and that's what our new
A Photographer's Antarctica voyage delivers! We've created our dedicated photo cruise to offer you more time to explore the Antarctic Peninsula than any other cruise offered for 2015. You get more time ashore and more time shooting the top photography spots on the Peninsula, all in the company of seasoned photography guides and top naturalists.

Our comfortable expedition vessel Ushuaia offers the ideal photography platform. There's plenty of accessible deck space from which to shoot wildlife and scenery while we are cruising and a fleet of Zodiac landing craft that whisk us to shore often and for extended periods of time. Our high leader-to-client ratio means you get exceptional attention when you want it and enjoy the many photography and nature presentations from our staff throughout our journey.
Brown Bears Lake Clark National Park

Brown Bears of Silver Salmon Creek

Aug 16–22, 2015
Aug 23–29, 2015
Aug 30–Sep 5, 2015
with Perry Conway

This is an amazing photo shoot with wonderful access to human-habituated bears at Lake Clark National Park in Alaska. Our exclusively-chartered, cozy lodge is strategically placed, offering close-range photo opportunities of bears right outside our doors.

Using ATVs, our small groups of eight participants set out each day to photograph bears as they fish for salmon in the shallows. We often see large males clash with one another, females with cubs in tow, and lone bears silhouetted in the shimmering reflections as they forage on the beach.

For bear photography, this trip is as good as it gets. But bears aren’t the only subjects. We’ll also see a variety of wildlife and have time to photograph some of the magnificent Alaskan scenery that surrounds us.
