Wayne Lynch
Wayne Lynch is a former emergency physician who has worked for over thirty years as a full-time natural history writer and photographer. He is the author of award-winning books and television documentaries, a popular guest lecturer, and Canada’s best-known and most widely published professional wildlife photographer. His photo credits include hundreds of magazine covers, thousands of calendar shots, and tens of thousands of images published in over 80 countries. He has contributed photographs and/or text to over 70 natural history books. His Latest books include Loons Treasured Symbols of the North, as well as three new books in his young adult series: Bears, Bears, Bears for Kids, Wildlife of the Rockies for Kids and Wildlife of the Arctic for Kids. His books have been described as “a magical combination of words and images”. Wayne is a veteran tour leader, having led nearly 200 trips worldwide. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, with his wife, Aubrey Lang.
